If you decide to buy a Sparrowhawk second, you can be confident that you will be getting the same level of structural integrity as our firsts.  The seconds carry the same guarantee for workmanship and materials as all of our other blades. 
 
Cosmetic blade irregularities are primarily surface pores from the casting process.  Each second has its own unique markings, and we do not have pictures of the individual Sparrowhawks. 
 
~17-18 oz overall weight, overall length is 12-1/4", head is ~6-1/2" long and features a ~3-1/2” wide chopping edge and ~3-1/2" long spike.
Investment cast 4340 steel head, heat treated to ~53 Rockwell C, with free hand ground surface finish and hand sharpened edge.
Handle has a 1/8" thick handwoven leather cord.
Comes with a kydex carry system that covers chopping edge, spike tip, and butt of handle.
